National Service Scheme (NSS)

Introduced in 1969, the National Service Scheme (NSS) aims to develop the personality and character of student youth through voluntary community service, embodying the principle of 'Education through Service.' Rooted in the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, the NSS motto, "NOT ME, BUT YOU", reflects the selfless commitment of volunteers prioritizing the community over self.

Objectives of NSS:

d) Applying knowledge for practical solutions to individual and community problems;
e) Acquiring skills in mobilizing community participation;
