Baghyalakshmi. R and Akshaya. B of M.E (CSE) with a team of B.E (CSE) students won accolades and a special award at Smart India Hackathon 2019, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) at NIT Jamshedpur. The special theme of the event entitled, “Transparency and Tracking in the Transaction Lifecycle of a Citizen’s License using Block Chain Application” attracted several teams from various parts of our country
R. Vidhya and G. Nishanthi of M.E (CSE) along with B.Tech (IT) Students, recognized for their distinction, won the First Prize of Rs.75,000/- in Smart India Hackathon 2019, organized by AICTE on the subject, “Bulk Email and SMS Communication Portal”. More than 520 teams from various parts of India participated in the event held at Lovely Professional College, Punjab. The subject of interest was on Government’s initiative to address the welfare of the people.
Ms. G. Kumutha Rajeswari, M.E (CSE), appreciated for her remarkable reputation for innovation in research, received copyright (17979/2018-CO/L) for new software entitled “Foot Feature Selection Algorithm”. Her innovation is mainly used for verification purposes in restricted areas where confidential information is exchanged.
A. Divya, M.E (CSE), having innate entrepreneurship, invented new software for the low vision people to view the text in the enlarged format as per their convenience. This software received the copyright (1589/2018CO/SW) from Government of India.
Panimalar Engineering College in its endeavour to support and empower the students to make a positive difference gives stipend to pursue post graduate studies. Few best students with academic credentials of 2018, Ms.K.Gomathi of M.E (CSE) & Ms.V.Kokila of M.E (CS) are receiving the stipend from Dr. K. Mani, Principal, PEC.
P. Yaagesh Prasad and S. Sathyavenkateshwaren of M.E (CSE) received appreciation award and secured 4th Place in Hackerearth, organized through online by “SBI – Digitize for Bank” on the topic “Automated on-us cheque processing”. Around 2773 teams across India registered for this theme in total.
Rahul Chiranjeevi. V of M.E (CSE) received the Best Paper Award and left an indelible mark in the International Conference on Innovative Computing and Communication (ICICC) entitled, “IOT Based Smart Museum using Wearable Device” held at Guru Nanak Institute of Management, New Delhi.
Ms.J.Mercy Sheeba of M.E (CS) received appreciation for presenting paper titled “Beamforming Techniques for Millimeter Wave Communications- A Survey” in the International Conference for Pheonixes on Emerging Current Trends in Engineering and Management, 2019.
Ms.B.Pavithra, M.E (CS) received remarkable appreciation in the International Conference conducted at SRM University, Chennai under IEEE 5G Summit. She explored her innovative ideas and its implementation under the title ” Design of 180 Degree Hybrid Coupler with and without Electromagnetic Bandgap Structure (EBG)” .
Ms.A.Anitha is receiving the cash award for the academic performance during the year 2017-18 from our director sir Mr.C.SakthiKumar, , M.E., in presence of our secretary and Correspondent Dr P.Chinnadurai , M.A.,Ph.D.
