Welcome to Information Technology

The department of Information Technology has been established in the year 2000, recognized by AICTE and affiliated to ANNA UNIVERSITY, accredited by NBA. The department offers a four year degree program in Information Technology, well known for its academic excellence and has rendered a great service in empowering the students into a successful software engineers. The Department has the state-of-the-art facilities for various labs, well equipped Seminar halls, class rooms and Library to support e-learning. The students of our department are given great exposure towards the industries by conducting Guest Lectures and workshop from industry experts.
The industry working environment experience is provided to the students by encouraging the student to attend corporate in plant training and industrial visit for every semester. Various additional value added courses are conducted to enrich the knowledge of our students. Motivational classes are conducted for to make the students to give their active participation in all aspects. To refresh the students mind, Information Technology Expert Association Club organizes various interesting events like quiz, group discussion, presentation on Innovation, Mobile App Development, Code Best etc. after the college hours. We also provide individual attention to make them good citizens of our nation to serve the industry and society constructively.

1. Engineering Knowledge: Able to apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering fundamentals and an Engineering specialization to the solution of complex Engineering problems.
2. Problem Analysis: Able to identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex Engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of Mathematics, Natural sciences, and Engineering sciences.
3. Design / Development of solutions: Able to design solution for complex Engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate considerations for the public health and safety and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Able to use Research - based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
5. Modern tool usage: Able to create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern Engineering IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex Engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
